Taper 7/14 to 7/20
The Buckeye Trail 50K is on Saturday. Patience and Persistence will be my motto for the day. Should be fun.
Training Schedule
Monday, 7-14: AM: 1 hr easy. PM - 1 hr easy
Tuesday, 7-15: AM: Track. 7x1 mile at half marathon race pace.
Wednesday, 7-16: AM: 1:20 hrs total with 30 min cruise pace.
Thursday, 7-17: Run - 1:20 easy.
Friday, 7-18: AM: 1 hr easy.
Saturday, 7-19: Buckeye 50K.
Sunday, 7-20: Off day for recovery.

Should be fun? It's going to be carnage!! Any advice for dealing with the heat...how do you mentally tackle it?
